I'm a curious builder from Berlin who has been creating and breaking things in and around technology for well over 20 years. For a good part of that time, I've been fortunate to share my passion for building awesome things with a circle of smart, kind and committed people.

I'm a geek

There's a gazillion things that interest, excite and fascinate me: technology, coding, cooking, brewing, classic cars, contemporary art, electronic and analog music, 60s architecture... and that's not even half of it!

I love exploring and getting excited about a new topic, diving in until I feel I've somehow mastered it — preferably far enough outside my comfort zone to keep things interesting.

Ah yes, and I'm writing

At least I should be, because as long as I write, I reflect. And as long as I reflect, I manage to stay in balance a little better.

Summer Reading 2026

This summer, I am making that a little more deliberate: I am reading and thinking in public about the future without apology — not as forecasts or grand claims, but as a way to look for optimism with seriousness, beauty and confidence.

Just like any good geek, right?
